King & MacGregor Environmental and Ecological Consulting Services

Rare, Threatened, and Endangered Species

King & MacGregor Environmental, Inc. (KME) biologists provide the sound, practical, scientific and regulatory experience needed to comply with the federal and state threatened or endangered plant and animal regulations. Our biologists conduct thorough field assessments to determine the presence of any threatened/endangered species or rare natural communities in a project area, and report their findings in an objective manner.

KME evaluates proposed project impacts and develops effective mitigation plans to accomplish project goals and to protect rare species. We understand that proper planning during the initial stages of a project may eliminate costly and time-consuming resource issues that may otherwise become more problematic. KME specializes in these services for both private and public sector development projects.

KME provides the following services:

  • Rare, threatened, endangered (RTE) plant and wildlife occurrence and habitat assessments

  • Rare natural communities assessments

  • RTE species permit application assistance

  • Habitat management plan development

  • RTE species transplantation and monitoring

  • Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) pre-qualified for endangered plants and wildlife
